I have learned to walk: ever since, I let myself run.
Poems inspired by Jolanda Richter’s paintings

A flight of spirits is un ekphrasis, a collection of poems inspired by paintings, in this case, the contemporary surrealist painter Jolanda Richter. The poems, which are purely philosophical, create an alchemy between word and image, between the «metaphysical instant» - as Bachelard defined poetry - and painting, engaging the reader in this a dynamic process of symbiosis between the arts.
What I have written assaulted me from within. I let speak the spirit who led me.
